About Air Techs
A refrigeration shop that does HVAC. Not the other way around.
Founded by Walid. HVAC Technical Institute, Chicago, class of 2014. Twelve years in the trade, five under this name in the 209.

Who Is Walid
He studied cold the way other people study for the bar.
Walid graduated from HVAC Technical Institute in Chicago in 2014 and went straight to the part of the trade most technicians avoid: commercial refrigeration. Walk-ins that have to hold 36 degrees on a 108 degree afternoon. Defrost cycles that quietly ice a coil solid over a long weekend. Twelve years in, the skill is rare enough that Air Techs has been flown to other states for jobs the local trade could not close. He is the man who answers the phone here.
Who You Are Hiring
A family with the manpower, the licenses and the connections to get any job done.
The people who answer, dispatch, show up and warranty the work are the same people. We have the crew to put more than one truck on a job, the insurance a general contractor asks for, and the supplier relationships that get a compressor here Tuesday instead of next week. We hold two licenses where most shops carry one: C-20 for heating and air, C-38 for refrigeration. Most HVAC shops in the 209 will not touch a walk-in. Most refrigeration outfits will not size a house. We do both, and both base charges are printed on this site.
